V.    Consent Calendar:  The following items were reviewed and recommended for adoption and may be approved by a single vote.  Any member of the public may request the Commission to pull an item for further discussion.

     C. Cal Card Credit Card Program
Reference:  Cal Cards are provided to Commission staff by the County of Humboldt for Commission purchases.  The County has requested the Commission adopt their policy for use of the cards to assure best practices.
     D. Humboldt County WIC Program
Reference: The WIC Program seeks to partner with the Commission in the further implementation of the ‘Talk, Read, Sing’ campaign.  Funding in the amount of $4,515 has been requested.
     E. Evaluator for Fiscal Years 2015/2016 & 2016/2017
Reference: Per the Commission’s informal competitive bid process, it is recommended that Maria Vanderhorst be selected.

VI.   Action Item: Healthy Beverage Policy
Reference: The Commission has reviewed draft versions of the Healthy Beverage Policy and will consider the final version.  The Healthy Beverage Policy will apply to children in FIRST 5 HUMBOLDT funded programs, and adults attending FIRST 5 HUMBOLDT meetings and events.   (15 min)

VII.  Action Item: Annual Program Evaluation Team Recommendations for Fiscal Year 2015/2016
Reference: Per the Commission’s ‘Evaluation Policy for the Continuation of Existing Programs,’ the Program Evaluation Team’s recommendations for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 will be considered for the following programs:    (120 min)
