IV. Discussion Item:  Commission Leadership for the Future
The Commission will discuss building leadership capacity for the future work of  FIRST 5 HUMBOLDT.    (50 minutes) 

 

V.  Discussion Item:  Strategic Plan Goals:  Increased Areas of Focus
Per the 2012 updated Strategic Plan, the Commission will consider the status of the increased areas of focus for each Strategic Plan goal.   (25 minutes)                                                                                            

VI. Discussion Item:  Trend:  Increasing Emphasis on 0-3 in First 5 Programs
The Commission will discuss the emerging trend to utilize decreasing Prop 10 resources on supports and services for children age 0-3.   (25 minutes)           

VII.  Discussion Item: Commission Business
The Commission will finalize recommendations for subcommittee membership and be briefed on current Commission policies which should be updated in the new fiscal year.   (25 minutes)                                                                                                       

VIII.  Information Item: Social Media Implementation Guidelines
Jennifer Gonzales will review the user friendly guidelines with Commissioners.     (25 minutes)

IX.  Information  Item:  Training & Technical Assistance Plan for FIRST 5 HUMBOLDT Parent & Family Support Programs for Fiscal Year 2014--2015      
Kim Puckett will review the Training & Technical Assistance Plan, that is informed by the Commission’s annual evaluation process.   (50 minutes) 

X.  Discussion Item:  Humboldt County Cultural Proficiency Action Plan
Commissioners will discuss implementation of the Cultural Proficiency Action Plan and potential activities to support.  Laura Power will participate in the discussion.  (50 minutes)
